Hector Martin is the Chief Strategy Officer at Pasadena Federal Credit Union, bringing with him over a decade of experience in financial services and credit union leadership. He holds an MBA from California State University Channel Islands and excels in crafting strategic initiatives that bolster financial performance and foster community engagement. Hector is an active advocate of the credit union movement and supports his community through several board positions in both industry and community organizations.
Previously, Hector served as the President/CEO of County Schools Federal Credit Union, where he was known for driving significant improvements in liquidity, efficiency, and community engagement. He founded the Emerging Credit Union Leaders Council in 2020 and received the California & Nevada Credit Union League’s Tomorrow’s Star Award in 2021.
In addition to his professional roles, Hector actively speaks at educational institutions on career development, professional growth, and financial literacy. He serves as both a project and final presentation grader at Western CUNA Management School and as a business case grader and live pitch judge for the CUES Emerge Program, helping to shape future leaders in the credit union industry.
