Eric Zittel, with over 17 years in the financial sector, has steadily grown in his understanding of strategic planning, credit risk management, and product design. While his journey began humbly at World Savings, it was through years of dedication and learning that he played a role in mergers and branch conversions as the institution evolved into Wachovia and finally, Wells Fargo. Eric, with a heart for the credit union movement, transitioned to Public Service Credit Union (Canvas Credit Union), where he contributed to the growth of the lending product portfolio.
These accomplishments weren’t just about the numbers; it showcased his commitment to ensuring return of value to Members and a focus on strengthening the institution’s foundation. Harborstone Credit Union was the next chapter in Eric’s journey and, he attributes his success to the collaborative efforts of his team as they together saw a substantial growth in yields and direct loan production. Most recently, he has been welcomed into the fold at Financial Partners Credit Union, serving as the Chief Lending Officer.
In today’s rapidly digitizing world, Eric humbly acknowledges the collective wisdom and efforts of the industry while he continues to be part of driving digital transformations, enhancing loan processes, and prioritizing Member-focused product designs. An advocate for combining analytical decision-making with Member needs, Eric’s guiding principle remains improving the well-being of Members through innovative strategies and sincere service. Throughout his journey, it’s not just about the milestones Eric has achieved, but the lessons he’s learned and the relationships he’s built along the way. With a passion for iterative improvement and an ethos grounded in service, Eric Zittel strives to contribute positively to the ever-evolving credit union movement.
