Alen Torosyan is the President/CEO of Parishioner’s Federal Credit Union, based in Torrance, California. With over 15 years of experience in the credit union industry, Alen has made significant impact at every stage of his career. He began his journey in 2009 with Premier America Credit Union, where he spent a decade serving as Regional Director and developing a deep understanding of branch operations, member service, and organizational growth.
He continued his leadership trajectory at First Entertainment Credit Union, where he held roles as Director of Branches and Director of Retail Lending over 3.5 years. Alen’s ability to drive operational excellence and foster innovation positioned him as a proven leader in the financial services space.
In August 2022, Alen took the helm as CEO of Parishioners Federal Credit Union (PFCU). In his first full calendar year as CEO, he delivered remarkable results, leading PFCU to unprecedented success. Among 89 credit unions in California with assets between $50 million and $250 million, PFCU ranked first in both asset growth and loan growth, fifth in capital growth, and seventh in share growth in 2023.
Under his leadership, PFCU also committed $1 million over the next ten years to support the Archdiocese of Los Angeles through donations, sponsorships, and scholarships benefiting the Catholic community and Catholic schools.
A lifelong learner, Alen earned his Executive MBA from Pepperdine University in 2019, further strengthening his ability to lead with strategy and purpose. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Southern California Credit Union Alliance (SCCUA) and as a member of the Shapiro Advisory Committee, reflecting his deep involvement in industry development and advocacy.
In recognition of his forward-thinking leadership, Alen was honored with the Innovative Leadership Award by FTSI in November 2024.
Alen graduated from WCMS in 2015 with the NU class.
