Cyndee Lemon ’12

Cyndee Lemon serves as the VP of Operations & Human Resources for Pacific Postal Credit Union, in San Jose California. Before making the amazing move to Credit Unions, Cyndee worked for HSBC Bank as a Branch Manager and was later promoted to the Compliance Specialist role and worked with the internal audit team for the branch network for lending.

Cyndee’s first introduction to credit unions was in 2008 where she filled the Compliance Officer/ HR Manager role at Alameda Credit Union. In her quest to submerse herself in the credit union movement, she asked to attend WCMS. Cyndee was promoted to COO in 2010, after attending her first year at WCMS and served throughout her years there (WCMS) as the “Kappa Klass” Secretary. Cyndee graduated from WCMS in 2012, served as a Graduate Assistant in 2013, and was the FIRST Super GA in 2014.

Cyndee has also served on the East Bay Chapter Board of Directors and has participated as a credit union representative for her home district at GAC. She subsequently became the COO for Upward Credit Union and headed the lending, compliance, branches, and IT departments. 

In her time away from the credit union world, Cyndee serves as the Chaplin for her chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and is a member of the Ivy and Peals foundation, both non-profit organizations support communities in Palo Alto and San Jose, CA. Cyndee strategically combined her volunteer effort with her sorority and Pacific Postal Credit Union to offer the Bite of Reality Program in her local schools and community centers.

Cyndee also enjoys volunteering at her church and has been trained as a leader to teach classes for marriage enrichment, financial literacy, and assisting those who have experienced personal traumas.

Cyndee is married to Michael and has two children.
