Senior Director

As Senior Director, Josh leads Filene’s Incubator program, which tests innovative solutions with the potential to help credit unions grow and increase member financial well-being. With over a decade of experience in cross-sector innovation, he collaborates with credit unions and other industry stakeholders on live pilot tests to identify and scale products, strategies, and technology that make a difference for credit unions and their communities. 

 Before joining Filene, Josh served as a Senior Director on the program team at the Financial Health Network, where he partnered with innovative financial service providers to build working solutions to improve consumer financial health. At FHN, Josh developed deep expertise in financial capability strategies, the small-dollar credit industry, and nonprofit-fintech partnerships. 

 Before his role at FHN, Josh served as Senior Investment Analyst at Prudential Capital Group, where he was part of a team making private debt and equity investments in mid-market companies.  Josh holds a master’s degree in liberal studies from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
